Dear Broadview Staff ,
You all played such an important part in Betty’s life. You were more than
caretakers; you were her family. We all appreciate the wonderful care she
received and the many prayers sent up for her. God answers prayers in ways
that we sometimes don’t understand, but we must trust his judgment. We will be
forever grateful to you for making her feel so special and loved.
Dear Betsy,
Patty Ball in my opinion went that extra mile for me and lightened my load
considerably. She checked with our secondary insurance company and they agreed
to benefits which had previously been unavailable to us. My family and I feel
deep appreciation to Patty and to Broadview for having such a competent and caring
person in employ. Patty’s sensitivity to our needs and interest in our welfare has
been evident since Ben was admitted to Broadview last November. Her dealing with the
insurance company shows her expertise in her work and how much she cares about the residents.
Dear Kelly,
Our mother/grandmother/mother-in-law, Claire, has been given the distinct honor of
being the unofficial caretaker of Miss Katie, Broadview’s house cat. We just couldn’t be
happier about this! Claire has become very fond of Katie, and more importantly, she feels
that the cat needs her. What a wonderful gift – to feel needed! We are grateful to the personnel
at Broadview, for not only making this possible, but also for providing a caring and safe environment
for its residents. A special thank you to Cecelia and Kirke, who do such wonderful work with the
residents at Broadview – and who now “assist” Claire with the day to day care of Katie.
To the Broadview Staff,
As Lena’s family, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone at Broadview. The care
Lena received over the last twenty-six months was wonderful. The love and concern for her and our
family was overwhelming at times. To have individuals like yourselves to take care of loved ones
in this type of situation is extremely comforting. Like Lena, we have made a new family during this
incredible journey and appreciate all that was given by you to make our lives easier, especially Lena’s.
Dear Betsy,
Thank you so much for the beautiful arrangement of flowers. I want to apologize for not calling you
when Mom died or thanking your facility in her obituary. I thought that after a year most people would
not remember her. I was very wrong! She received great care while at Broadview and I will always have
a special place in my heart for the therapy department. Thank you again for remembering us during a very
difficult time.
To all Staff at Broadview,
From my heart, I thank you for the excellent care my Mother received during her
illness. I appreciate all you did for her and will always remember your kindness.
Dear Resident’s and Staff,
My love and deep appreciation to each of you for all you dedicated help and care you gave to my husband.
I offer each of you my humble thanks for listening to me when I needed to talk and for all the hugs and
prayers extended to both of us. When I look at the dish garden planter and pick up your card and read the
names, I know we were blessed in my husband’s stay there. My loss is great! But, oh, God showed his love
to me through each of you.
Dear Patty,
My husband and I would like to thank you for taking the time to show us your facility. In the future, if we
decide we need a nursing home for my mother, I will call you. We liked your private room with a private bathroom
and shower. I think that is what my mother would want. Thank you for also giving us information regarding Medigold
vs. Medicare. That was very interesting.
Dear Friends,
I cannot begin to express our gratitude. The flowers were lovely and Louise would have loved the springtime joy.
No one in my family can get over the fact that Betsy got up so early to drive all the way into Cincinnati for the funeral.
Cecelia’s presence at the memorial service here in Columbus was touching and meaningful to us all, and I’m glad she could
see all the photos of my mom through the years. But most of all, I am profoundly and eternally grateful to each of you for
the tender care you gave my mother during the past ten months, and very specially during the final weeks of her life. I will
never forget that last week walking in and seeing Joe patiently trying to get her to eat, or Lina and Lynn’s gentleness at
making her comfortable, or Kirke’s soothing reassurances, or Theresa’s care-filled nurturing that got me through the final
days or a single one of you whose names I am not mentioning, but whose faces and compassion are etched into my memory forever.
God bless each of you, as you have truly blessed my mother and our family.
To the Staff of Broadview Health Center,
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your wonderful care of our mother and grandmother during her stay there. She had a long,
full life and was a great lady and you treated her as one. It takes a special kind of person to choose to work in this field and
you are among the best in your profession. You have the gratitude of a grateful family for your help and comfort to a loved one in
time of need. Your work is appreciated more than you’ll ever know.
Dear Betsy,
Our family would like to thank you for the time spent and effort exerted while my grandfather was a resident here at Broadview.
You, Kelly, Cecelia, Kirke, LaDonna and others that I am sure that I am failing to recognize, were so patient and wonderful in
conditions that I know were complicated. I wanted you to know that giving up your time to help my family and offer suggestions
and support did not go unnoticed. It was my family’s observation that you and the staff at Broadview were compassionate, patient
and incredibly professional. Thank you for your phone calls and continuous updates, thoughts and concerns. Bob rests now at home
with Hospice. He is content there with his own familiar surroundings and dogs. Thank you again. Broadview could not be without
folks like you doing their jobs and doing them so well.
To All of You at Broadview Health Center,
I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving Day! A thankful day for all of us. Today is two months since I left Broadview.
I do miss all of you for laughs and fun. No one to wait on me. Ha! But seriously, each week I notice something that I do better
than the week before. I remember nose over toes to get up easier! I take my cane along in case I need it outside. All of you have
a great holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love you all. Your friend, Ray
Dear Mariann,
What a blessing you and the staff were to our father/grandfather. We wish you could have known him in better times. But then your
true colors would not have shown so brightly. Your and the staff’s patience and compassion were felt by our entire family, and especially,
Bill. He was not a demonstrative man, but he told me everyday that Broadview was the right place for him. Thank you for everything.
To Whom it may Concern,
Thank you for the excellent care I received while I was a resident at your facility. The entire staff helped to make my stay as comfortable
as possible. Very Sincerely, Rosie
